The First Nations National Guardians Gathering 2023

Màmandòsewin: Place of Gathering and Sharing

Ottawa, May 9 – 11

Delta Hotel Ottawa City Centre

This is the largest National Guardians Gathering to date! More than 250 Guardians are convening in Ottawa, joined by leaders, partners, and allies for a total of 350 participants.

Together we will celebrate the growth and success of the Guardians movement. Five years ago, there were about 30 Guardians programs. Today there are more than over 120 First Nations Guardians programs caring for lands and waters.

The Gathering will offer Guardians a chance to connect and learn and help shape the future of the National Guardians Network.

The Indigenous Leadership Initiative and the First Nations National Guardians Network are excited to welcome you in person or via live stream.
